Want to join our team of contributors?

When I first created this site, I wanted it to be one of the best places for everything that is Indie and Retro game related. There are other sites out there, all with their own different styles but not many that deal with both Indie and Retro gaming at the same time, it's either one or the other. So this is one of many reasons why Indie Retro News was born! Besides I've always wanted to have a place to call my own, to show my up most respect to all the Indie and Retro developers out there. Also my love all that is Nostalgic, hey I did have an Amstrad cpc 464 ;).

The site has grown big time since it first went live in early Nov, from just a few hundred views to nearly 70K of today. We get many different emails from developers contacting us, wanting their game to be on Indie Retro News, which is fantastic! But what's more, because we have some fantastic contributors on our site which I'm proud to have here, we are even able to do Reviews and Previews or Long kickstarter articles.

But we need to grow, this site can go even further and this is why I'm putting the net out there to pull in even more great contributors! Myself and the staff work very hard for which I'm very grateful, but for the site to grow even more, game news contributors are needed. Can you find the latest gaming indie news? Do you have a love of all that is Retro or Indie game related? Would you be able to put the effort in and be fluent in English while being able to at least spell? Is there anything else you could contribute? We are also on the look out for youtube members who can play Retro games and video/talk about the game they are playing!

What about the future? Our staff will continue to post the latest gaming news and doing even more fantastic reviews and other articles. What's more Indie Retro News will at some point be going to Gaming Events and giving our feedback and perhaps some footage of the latest Indie games. We are also hoping to hit 100k views, because when that happens, expect a very special give away!

Contact us either via the link on the right side of the website or admin@indieretronews.com, we'd love to hear from you. Besides we are not all a serious bunch, most of us just like to have a laugh and play Indie or Retro games. You should see my Amiga collection ;)

Lastly, as from today the site had a new addition for all other language speakers. At the bottom of the website you'll see a nice little Google translator, which means everything on the website can be translated into your language.
