OddPlanet - a side-scrolling game about exploration & puzzle solving

This is OddPlanet, a side scrolling game about exploration and puzzle solving. A title that reminds me very much of Limbo, with it's menacing darkness and unique style. Unlike that game, in this one you play as a girl who must be guided through the dark hostile terrain of an alien planet and help her survive.

What I love about these type of games is the way they can design such levels that invoke fear and the unknown, yet contain so much quality in a dark pallet. The puzzles will be both challenging for the casual and hardcore gamer, so this should appeal to a wide audience as well.

The world will be living with fascinating creatures and some will not be so nice, how will you solve the puzzle of getting past those? As you play, the girl lost in this world will interact with it and share her feelings about it with you.  My only concern at this time is the very slow animation of the character and thus I hope that is improved upon.

OddPlanet is currently on Indiegogo with a pledge needed of a $30,000 Goal and they only have 18 days to go! What's more it is also up for votes on Steam Greenlight, however if the pledges go beyond expectations they hope to push the quality even further and other system additions, like the Android or iOS.
