Here comes a cool looking updated Roguelike, which was originally released as a classic for the PC, and updated to 1.10 for touchscreen devices. But it is also now coming updated to a Mac and PC near you! Mysterious Castle by developers Eclectocrat, pits a party of characters against a procedurally generated world made up of treacherous forests, caves and dungeons! You'll come across some pretty nasty creatures in Mysterious Castle, especially if you think Orcs and Undead are creepy, wait till you see what else this game has in store. But thankfully, scattered throughout the land are amazing items to wield in battle, study old tomes to increase your skills, and harvest mushrooms to brew into powerful spells. Plus there's more!
Mysterious Castle has a Turn based combat based on (but not limited by) the award winning and ubiquitous SRD 3.5 standard which the developer claims, provides endless tactical possibilities. The interface has also been refined, to make it easy to get to grips with and less of the clutter, which comes as a bonus for Roguelikes.
