Game Info Quote : Great news for the Indie scene as La-Mulana is set for a return, and this looks to be every bit as good as the first one. The original was actually made in 2006 and then remade in 2011 for the WiiWare and finally updated to the PC. Thanks to a successful Steam Greenlight it was also the first Japanese game to make it successfully through to Steam. The game and it's sequel is known as a "Metroidvania" style game, basically a 2D Action Platformer with non-linear exploration. But with the sequel due hopefully next year, expect ever new areas, a new character and much more, oh and a new story! In La-Mulana 2, you will take on the role of Lumisa Kosugi on a mission to find the entrance to the ruins of Eg-Lana, which is rumored to be the source of recent monster appearances. The ruins themselves are compromised of a variety of areas as well as huge boss creatures known as Guardians.
