Airships - Design and fight with Airships - Gets a Steam Greenlight campaign

When I was a kid I always used to design great things in Lego and fought enemies in my imaginary mind, so when the developer Zarkonnen mentioned his RTS airship design and fight game Airships, it kinda took me back to my childhood years. Currently going through a Steam Greenlight campaign and up for Early Access, Airships has the unique idea of module based design as your air sailors run around, ferrying coal, ammunition and generally being the life blood of your massive Airship

According to the developer you can also command fleets of airships as you fight not just single player AI through strategic mode, but also through multiplayer against other human designers. It certainly adds to the appeal as your creative mind is put to the test and the battle commences through online fighting against each others Airship.

As for me I'm more of a single player kinda person, and the fact that I can conquer cities while unlocking new modules certainly appeals to me! Airships is looking to be a fun game that will challenge you both in strategic combat and tactical creative thinking.
Future plans include: boarding combat, a graphical upgrade (animation, lighting fx, etc.), a more detailed single-player campaign - and dragons...
PC / MAC / LINUX

Airships is up for a Steam Greenlight campaign so they need your votes and also available for Early Access
