Hidden Path Entertainment have just let us know that the Steam pre-order of their new 3D tower defense game Defense Grid 2 has gone live on steam for release in September. They are doing a Kickstarter stretch goal style tiered reward where the more people who pre-order, the more fun things everyone gets bundled with the delivery.
Starting with 10% off and beta access for all pre orders, the first reward tier additionally gets DG:Containment DLC for DG1 and a digital copy of The Art of Defense Grid art book.
Tier 3 gets the audio book A Matter of Endurance by Mary Robinette Kowal.
There is also a special edition which will additionally get the digital book: The Art of Defense Grid 2, plus the ebook, The Making of Defense Grid 2: The Complete Story Behind the Game by Russ Pitts.
Defense Grid 2 will be available on Windows, MacOS and Linux/SteamOS
