South Park VR - See South Park through your own eyes via Oculus Rift

Developed by a small group of superfans at Tool, comes a South Park experience unlike any other, a software release that some would class as the most immersive South Park visual experience yet. Taking inspirations from other renditions of the city of South Park, such as the recent game "Stick of Truth" and the season 17 show intro you'll be able to walk around the area of South Park viewed through your eyes using an Oculus Rift.

Although it's just an experiment by the creators, it's pretty damn cool walking around the town and listening to the many voices from the characters as they stare at you through large eyeballs with such catch phrases as, " Oh Jesus Christ " from Mr Slave. Plus there's also an Easter egg of which you need to find which further adds to the strange South Park experience!

Even though the entire visual experience was modeled in Cinema 4D, textured in Photoshop and a rough laid out version with place holders in Unity, the game(?) does suffer from a few strange oddities. You'll be walking through characters and cars and can even see certain objects that disappear and reappear in the City so it's not exactly bug free. However it is a pretty impressive experiment and it's just a shame the developers really didn't push the experience. Imagine being in an entire cartoon of the south park, living the experience through the Oculus Rift, now that would be something!

But as for this version, if  you are a fan of South Park and have an Oculus rift then this is just what the South Park doctor ordered
