Now who here didn't like the 1979 Arcade version of Asteroids, where you fly your little ship about shooting Asteroids and UFOs while trying not to be destroyed? I certainly enjoyed it and so have many others, as have there have been countless clones of the game, but Space 101 by Norham is one of the better ones.
What looks to be cell shaded graphics, Space101 is a fine game indeed as just like the original game you can destroy asteroids, zip about the screen and take out other UFOs. But what gives the game the edge is it's easy to control, very smooth and it's a joy to play. But be warned it's not very easy, as one touch can kill you outright, especially when distracted by an ever increasing high score.
Space 101 is controlled by the mouse, with left click being shoot and double left click zooms you to another position.
