Urban Logic Games have just announced the latest Kickstarter campaign for Flagship, which is a real-time strategy game viewed through a first person perspective on your very own spaceship! According to the developers Flagship is inspired by great RTS titles such as Homeworld and Sins of a Solar Empire while mashing it up with the capital ship combat of sci-fi classics such as Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica.
Of all the Kickstarter sci-fi games we've seen so far this looks to be the most impressive just by the kickstarter trailer alone! Watch as huge space battles commence right in front of your very eyes, feel the emotion and power as you view through a first person perspective. Command a fleet from the bridge of your own starship or using the central map table, explore the stars, expand your territory and be immersed in the space ship experience.
All in all this game is looking to be an incredible title for not just us gamers but sci-fi junkies who want to be in control of a powerful fleet while immersing themselves in a first person view point. The developers have also mentioned that Flagship will have VR support, so if you have an oculus rift, you'll probably think you really are a space commander!
