Pillars of Eternity - How Obsidian was saved from Bankruptcy

Obsidian Entertainment established in 2003 after the disestablishment of Interplay Productions' Black Isle Studios, released some fantastic games that are still loved to this day. Games such as Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II, Neverwinter Nights 2 and South Park : The Stick of Truth. However all was not well as Obsidian was very close to being shut down. It was a time of great sadness as emotions were felt throughout the game studio, yet little did they know that their Kickstarter idea of Pillars of Eternity was to change all that and set the path of the company to another high point in it's life raising over 1 million in funding. Watch the Developer Diaries and see how it all came to pass.
