Maldita Castilla - Ghost'n'Goblins homage demo'd on the Megadrive!

In 2012 Locomalito released Maldita Castilla for the PC which was a fantastic arcade platformer homage to Ghost'n'Goblins, and many others while taking influences from medieval paintings and places, and inspired by the best chivalry book ever: The Amadis of Gaul. It was indeed one of the finest retro inspired games I have ever played, but what if I was to tell you there has been a demo released which works on the Sega Megadrive? Well here it is, Maldita Castilla on the Sega Megadrive!

Do note that this release is more like a tech demo rather than a playable demo, as there is hardly anything to do in the game apart from walking back and forth, glitching through the landscape while listening to the grand soundtrack and admiring the PC ported detail. Still if this is just a taster and knowing how good the original game was, I hope we see a fully playable version at some point this year or next.

Once we know more, we will update!
