We haven't featured a new ZX Spectrum game for time for some time now, mainly for the fact that since the World of Spectrum forums have been down we haven't been able to find new releases. Yet through a bit of deep delving we found some! Developed by the member rtype using the Nirvana Engine, 'Stormfinch' is the very latest ZX Spectrum shoot em up, that features waves of enemy ships that you need to blast to get a ever higher score.
The downside to this nice looking title is it's not the most complete of games, as there are issues such framerate, sound and bullet collision problems as well as it being a one hit game over wonder. However I'm hopeful the developer will really put the effort in for a better game as so far it isn't too bad at all.
