What a great way to start Tuesday, as the developers 5LivesStudios have announced the release date for the Kickstarter success of 'Satellite Reign' ; a spiritual successor to the Syndicate Series which is coming August 28th! Syndicate and Syndicate Wars released by Bullfrog Productions in the 1990's were some of the greatest Action Strategy games I have ever played. Yet fast forward to this week and the same creator behind Syndicate Wars has not only mentioned the release date but also a brand new launch trailer to whet your appetite.
Once again following that brilliant Syndicate Wars vibe; a real time, class-based strategy game. You control a team of four agents, each with distinct and unique abilities, collectively battling for control of a simulated, living cyberpunk city. From Assassination, infiltration and exploration, to new weaponry and upgrades - this a spiritual successor that most gamers are seriously looking forward to!
