Cathedral - A NES-inspired 8-bit adventure you might want to see

Putting aside all those Greenlight successes and back to my 8-bit ways, Decemberborn was kind enough to give us a shout out about their new game ' Cathedral, the 8-bit adventure ', that is inspired by the great NES console as an adventure and exploration RPG! Yes indeed a NES style game, and if that game Shovel Knight was anything to go by, people will be all over this like Mario to a stash of coins!

In Cathedral the player wakes up in an unknown world with no past recollections or memories. In this unknown world there are seven dungeons that need to be conquered in order for the player to return home to his world. And if you like dungeons (Who doesn't?) you'll love this, as every dungeon defeated and memory claimed, features unique aesthetics, new items, puzzles all in a vast world full of awesome secrets, and side-quests!

Sadly though as this game is still in an early stage of development we don't have any further information, however you can watch the video below, visit their Facebook page and Website and hope this game comes to GOG or Steam!
