CGA: Christmas Game Arcade - A tiny racer but full of CGA fun!

I can't believe we missed out on this one on Christmas day, as not only is it a jolly good racer but it takes us back to a time of 1980's CGA graphics. A time when games such as Golden Axe, Defender of the Crown and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom where shown in 4 colour detail on IBM's first graphics card! So yes, we were pretty excited when we came across abstauber's CGA free racing game of' ' CGA: Christmas Game Arcade ' in which you need to race along a highway, picking up presents that have accidentally been dropped by Santa!

It's just a shame that this game, or shall we say demo, is way too short, spanning only 3 laps! But in that time I found the game to be really enjoyable sliding my sleigh about, picking up presents and avoiding oncoming cars, plus is such a lovely throw back to the days of CGA graphics. It's also very easy to play too and even if you do crash a lot, most of the time the game puts a smile on your face with that lovely Christmas remix that plays throughout. You'll also be pleased to know that this game runs perfectly well even on aging systems, and the developer has said he may turn it into a full game next year!

So what are you waiting for? Santa may have been and gone, but this game is here for you to play now!
