You probably wont see many articles up on the site today due to ill health, however I did have the chance to play the C64 game of ' The Catacombs of Cherubim ' developed by Marcus Wagner and presented by the Construction Computer Players . This game which has been unearthed and released by Laxity, is classed as a platformer with rather dark undertones as you play as a treasure hunter searching the deep catacombs looking for diamonds and treasure!
But beware to those who seek fortune, as this treasure is guarded by black magic from the evil Zambalo, which is kept active by the Diamonds, Goblets and Pearls kept deep within the earth. In my opinion a rather fun game with some fantastic level design and evil menacing creatures that will stop at nothing to end your life! Oh and watch out for the black shadow that lurks below, it could well be the evil presence of Zambalo himself.
