Donkey Kong Jr - Another Arcade release is coming and it's for the ZX Spectrum

We've just had a great piece of news come into our inbox from Asger Bonnevie, as he has shared with us a video link of the in development arcade port of Donkey Kong Jr, which is coming to the ZX Spectrum. Originally released in 1982 for Arcades and later released for home systems such as the Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari 8-bit , ColecoVision, Coleco Adam, Intellivision, NES and BBC Micro, with a C64 overhauled version released by Mr Sid and Atari 8-bit Arcade HACK released just recently. This latest ZX Spectrum port is being developed by Gabriele Amore and will have lots of enemies on screen, lots of colour and hopefully still be enjoyable to play.

In regards to the gameplay it wont be any different to what we have already seen in the other versions. As you still play as Donkey Kong Junior and must still rescue your father Donkey Kong who has been imprisoned by Mario in his only appearance as an antagonist in a video game.

Once we know more we will of course give you the heads up!
