The Untouchables SE - 1989 Game movie tie in re-released as an enhanced version

In 1989 Ocean released ' The Untouchables ' for the Amiga, as well as many other platforms as a movie tie in, in which you play as The Untouchables, Elliot Ness, who is going after the ruthless Mafia boss Al Capone. Based on the movie of the same name, and featuring multiple levels and a variety of weapons to pick up, the game is regarded as marmite with some liking the game and others not so much. So how do you improve a game that isn't that great? Well you enhance it, and that is exactly what Earok has done with the latest ' The Untouchables SE ' released for the Amiga today.

Just as in the original game, you'll be playing through a range of different gameplay styles representing various scenes from the film, but unlike the original game, this one has been enhanced with not just palette fixes, such as the Dark Atari ST palette, but there's both sound effects and music on all levels except level 2, a difficulty tweak on level 3 with all alleys having 5 more seconds, and the game includes an F10 cheat ( Pressing F10 at main menu to skip level ). So if you have played the original game and felt it lacking, then you really should be playing this enhanced version today!
