Although I do play the odd modern day first person shooter such as Shadow Warrior or even Wolfenstein II The New Colossus, I'm still a huge fan of those retro classics such as Blake Stone, Hexen, or even the original Wolfenstein 3D. So to hear from Narayan Games that their retro inspired first person shooter of ' Warlock Revenge ' is now on Steam, after a previous Steam Greenlight success, I was most pleased indeed.
Available at the price of a can of coke and a packet of crisps, Warlock Revenge on Steam looks like a dark first person shooter with a creepy Gothic overtone! The developer mentions that this game is simple but exciting at the same time which brings back a long-forgotten sense of nostalgia. So basically if you like these types of games and don't want to empty your wallet, you can do no wrong with this retro inspired goodness!
