Right that's enough of the Amiga as now we look towards Serkan Bakar's retro-inspired style action platformer ' Ghoulboy ', which was released on Steam not long ago, and shockingly we've only just found out about it today! This game combines the best bits of classic games such as Ghouls and Ghosts and other fine titles, while keeping it fresh and awesome with 2D action, heroic characters, gloomy environments, demonic bosses and even neat little touches such as throwing a spear to create additional platforms!
With lovely retro aesthetics and a cool soundtrack to match, Ghoulboy is a love letter to the late 80's and 90's platformers, and further features monsters to fight, loot to collect, dangerous traps, puzzles, and even money that can be used to increase your health or your arsenal weapons. But if that wasn't enough to excite you, you'll be pleased to know it's less than £3 of your spending to enjoy all of it, so give it a go!
