Helicopter Mission - Amiga version gets an early English beta translation

Before you get excited this isn't a new helicopter game bringing us back to the days of Desert Strike or Jungle Strike, but in fact this is a game called Helicopter Mission, which was orginally released in Germany as an advertisement for the German defense forces. Or as one person puts it "ordered by our Ministry of War, err Defense to recruit cannon fodder for the forthcoming World War III". Sadly not many people got the chance to play it outside of Germany but thanks to Earok and Playaveli , they've released a beta English translated version for all to try.

Earok posted on the EAB discussion forums that Helicopter Mission is an educational German version of Desert Strike/Jungle Strike without guns, and offers a few minutes of entertainment and it's in English for the first time, just be aware that the game is in a beta state with some issues. But this is still the first time many have played an english translated version as a collaboration between Earok and Playaveli.

Earok :
It was a collaboration between myself and Playaveli, with myself ripping/reinserting the strings and Playaveli doing the translation work. Playaveli's done an amazing job - translating literally the entire game in a single night, including updating and modernising facts and figures.
