It's always nice to kick back sometimes with several printed pages of interesting subjects. Away from the glare of the screen and the noise of the blasters but still wanting to keep that retro gaming fix in the blood. Well there is a plethora of video gaming books out there, and two recently came into my possession, both written by popular retro gaming Youtubers.
The first, as pictured above is The A to Z of Amstrad CPC Games Vol 1. Written by Retro Gamer Magazine writer and owner of the channel Lairds Lair, Kieren Hawken. It's a simply laid out, Ebook only format, quick fix of everything in the Amstrad game library. And this is only the first part!
The second book is Retro Tech by The Nostalgia Nerd, AKA Peter Leigh who is a highly prolific retro Youtuber. In chronological order, he details most consoles and computers since the Magnavox to the XBox, which makes for an interesting and informative read. Both these book are well worth checking out, but here is my video review of them both.
