Zelda Fan Game - Scorpion Engine testing on the Commodore Amiga

We've featured many Zelda fan games over the years from Zelda Parallel Worlds to Beyond Hyrule to name but a few, but unlike those games however this one is slightly special. As thanks to Earok, he has announced the first showing of the Scorpion Engine for the Commodore Amiga; a new engine as a remake of the tiny part of the open source Zelda fan game "Return of the Hylian" (by Vincent Jouillat).

As noted above in regards to the Scorpion Engine, this looks to be a new engine for the Commodore Amiga which in future may be used to create games such as the early tease of the Zelda fan game above. Just be-aware however, although you can sort of play the game above, Earok has noted there's virtually nothing that you can actually "do" in the game apart from walking about and picking up the sword.

Earok :
I've got a lot of things going on at once (32 color bobs, foreground rendering eg when Link walks through the log, animated flower tiles).  To keep it at an acceptable speed on A500 with some enemies, I may need to make some cutbacks (cut the framerate back to 25HZ, for example). Emulated under WinUAE Amiga 500/1MB
