It's time to get excited retro gamers, as we've just come across as post on the msx.org website of a brand new game that is coming to the MSX2 that is sure to cause a flurry in the MSX scene. This game titled as ' Caravan Boomer ', is an upcoming horizontal shooter completely written in Assembly, that features the musical talent of not just Shinji Hosoe (Dragon Spirit, Ridge Racer) and Naruto (Away, Axe Bow). But also Tanikugu, Hally (vorc.org), Maak, Shnabubula, Masahiko Ishida (R-Type 2, Ninja Spirits), and Norio Nakagata (Abarenbou Tengu, Genpei Touma Den).
According to MSX.org they have said the colorful screen shots are shown from a horizontal shooter that reminds them of Konami's Space Manbow and Parodius with the possibility of two modes; normal and a mode called "caravan". The game can be pre-ordered as a limited physical boxed copy (2xDD). Price 5000 yen, which is about 40 euros, and it's due to be released towards the end of 2019 or into 2020!
