While many of us are still looking forward to playing Sarah Jane Avory's upcoming Shoot em up of Soul Force, although we haven't seen any updates for Briley Witch Chronicles. You may be interested to know Sarah has released a Christmas version of Neutron called 'Santron'; a previously released fantastic top scrolling shoot em up from the ex-SEGA game developer and author which gained very favourable reviews for the C64.
Featuring a wicked soundtrack, smooth scrolling and LOTS of enemies to blast away. The developer told us both Neutron and Santron was developed on her PC using her own assembler build, including character and sprite editors, with the game being extensively tested for the C64 using the emulator Vice! If that wasn't enough to get you excited, it features varying stages of difficulty, player weapon upgrades, multiple background styles, lots of enemies to destroy, bosses and yes that cool festive soundtrack!
