It's crazy how many Shoot em ups we feature on Indie Retro News, I know for sure the C64 has certainly had its fair share of homebrew blasters on our website. Well now it's time for the Atari XL/XE to get in on the action. As we've been told the coder behind the great Bosconian conversion known as Shanti77, is now working on the next fabulous game as an upcoming vertical Shooter which is featured in this new gameplay tease below.
Although it is still early days for this game, the description says below the video. That the engine uses only DLI interrupt when previously it used IRQ + some DLI interrupt, music and sound effects are from Bosconian, and newly added enemy AI are based on a special interpreter. And that's pretty much all we know so far, so watch this space!
