Last year the Commodore 64 saw some of its finest releases with the likes of King's Valley+, L'abbaye Des Morts, Manic Miner 64DX and Neutron giving all of us plenty of reasons to fire up our hardware and emulators. Thankfully even those without coding experience are able to get involved, as The New Dimension are now running another Shootemup Construction Kit (SEUCK) competition titled as The Official C64 SEUCK Compo of 2020!
The Official C64 SEUCK Compo of 2020 finishes 31st May 2020 and so far as it's only just begun, there's already been an entry called Guillotine - The Doom Machine. This game according to the developer Richard Bayliss, is not only an enhanced SEUCK game but is classed as a fast paced horizontal scrolling shoot 'em up in which your mission is to seek out and destroy an evil doom machine, created by the evil alien Emperor!
