If your gaming youth goes back to the 90's, I'm sure you'll remember the high speed 3D Polygonal racer called ' Virtua Racing '; a game which had its roots at the Arcades and was later ported to home systems such as the Sega Megadrive 32X by SEGA. Well if you do remember that game as well as I do, you'll be interested to know that there is an upto date preview of Virtua Racing, which is being developed by Freds72 for the Pico-8!
According to the creator of this rather impressive showing on the Pico, this is a technical preview of Virtua Racing as a port to pico-8 fantasy console with 3D assets taken from the Megadrive edition. Do be aware however, that even though you can play the game on the Pico-8 hardware and through your browser, it's still being developed and may be missing other features such as brakes.
