Galaga - An Arcade classic as an early Atari XL/XE test conversion!

Galaga has appeared on Indie Retro News so many times lately, it appeared as an Atari 2600 port by Champ Games and even a more recent Amiga demake by Pink and Fade One. But now the Atari XL/XE is getting in on the Arcade fun, as we've recently been told by Saberman, that Paul Lay has released an early Galaga test for the Atari XL/XE, complete with sound effects, bullets and waves of deadly enemies.

If you've not heard of Galaga before, this game was originally developed and published by Namco Japan and by Midway in North America in 1981 as the sequel to the 1979 game Galaxian. The game puts you in control of a mighty spaceship that must destroy waves of enemy formations that are out to destroy or capture you!
