A legendary DOS game called Raptor: Call of the Shadows gets an unofficial WEB port

Shoot em ups and Shooters have never gone out of fashion, there's something to be said about blasting waves of enemies on screen, while collecting wicked power ups and listening to that thumping soundtrack. Thankfully one such developer likes to keep the retro goodness going, as Clobberasm has released a WEB port of Raptor; A legendary DOS game "Raptor: Call of the Shadows" which was originally released by Apogee software way back in 1994.

Raptor: Call of the Shadows is a vertically scrolling shooter that was developed by Cygnus Studios and published by Apogee Software in 1994. The game had high praise back in the day as it had notable feedback such as Apogee's most professional and competent release since Wolfenstein 3D and with some going as far to say that once you start playing this incredible game, you'll be hooked until competition. Please note the game can be played in your browser, however if you want to play the official release with achievements, leaderboards, improved resolutions and cloud saving, then make sure to check out the 2010 link out below.

EDIT : It looks as if due to copyright claims, the WEB port has been taken down
