Once again another retro heads up from Saberman, as we've just been told that Mike Langer 2021 has released the Boulder Dash clone of 'Firefox Dash 56' for the Atari XL/XE. This game available to download below, is a slight enhancement from the original game released way back in 1984 for the same system, as it now features lots of new and difficult levels for you to challenge your Boulder Dash skills.
In the 1984 game of Boulder Dash you had to dig your way around a level while collecting Diamonds and the avoiding of dangerous boulders that would most likely squash you flat. What makes this game different however, is although you still have to collect Diamonds and you can still be crushed by boulders ,the levels are different and increase with difficulty as you progress through the game.
