No Back Down - A vertical scrolling arcade by game studio SoCal for the MSX

Possibly the last retro gaming article today so others don't get pushed off the page and yes I'm a bit tired, is a brand new game for the MSX called 'No Back Down'. This game developed by SoCal (Vincent, Sylvian, Cedric) for the MSXDev 21 competition, is a vertical scrolling Arcade game in which you need to climb huge towering buildings with caution, because one wrong move and escaping the local law enforcement wont be the only thing you'll be worried about..... You'll probably fall!

Playing as the local punk who is escaping the police, you must climb the highest of buildings to reach the top to hopefully escape jail time. Be warned however, not only are the residents fed up with you climbing their building, but as the website says "Most people’d figure that they must have done something stupid other than disturbing residents, perhaps. So, both residents as well as construction workers retaliate and try to stop the **** by throwing stuff out of their window". So good luck Mr Punk, and try not to get hit by that Kitchen Sink!
