The ZX Spectrum news just keeps on coming, as trawling through Facebook we have just found out through the Putty CAD page, that at some point soon the publishers Bitmap Soft, who have published some incredible games already for a multitude of systems. Will be releasing as a physical tape, the charming platformer of 'Gherbert Groundhog in Save the Date' by PuttyCAD (Ric Lumb) and PsychicParrot (Jeff Murray) for the ZX Spectrum.
Here is the press release for the upcoming game of 'Gherbert Groundhog in Save the Date'; "PuttyCAD (Ric Lumb) and PsychicParrot (Jeff Murray)have joined forces to release a brand new retro game for the ZXSpectrum which will be published on physical tape by our friends at Bitmap Soft. Find Gherberts objects and return them, one by one, to his burrow before his big date. Avoid the critters and falling acorns. Your lives are shown in the top right, with the number of objects you have collected shown next to it. The current time is shown in the top center of the screen, so keep an eye on it: Gherberts date is due at 8PM and he can't be late or it's game over!"
