Throughout 2018 and into 2019 we were constantly banging on the drums about the fabulous C64 game 'L'abbaye Des Morts', which was developed by Antonio Savona, with graphics, music, sfx by Saul Cross and Gryzor, with full permission of Locomalito. Well fast forward to today and boy do we have some great news for you. As if you've played this version on the C64 or any other system it was ported to, will be overjoyed to learn a high quality conversion is still in the works for the Amiga by UltraNarwhal.
L'abbaye Des Morts is a game that no Amiga gamer should miss. As not only does it feature graphics redrawn to 16 (non Speccy) colours developed using Earok's brilliant Scorpion Engine, but hopefully when complete, will feature lots of challenging rooms, 14 different types of enemies, eeeek A DRAGON!, Secret passages and hidden rooms, and pretty much everything else that made this retro-styled platformer so good on the PC and the other ports mentioned above. So yes this is one game I can't wait to play when it gets an eventual release.

I love new Amiga titles ofcourse, and this was a nice C64 one. But it does really feel like an 8bit title on a 16 bit machine..
ReplyDeleteDude the Amiga Legacy Range is 32-bits while the modern PPC Amigas are 64-bits. Just sayin'.
