Here we are with another retro gaming news story, as we've just been told by our good friend Per Ola Eriksson, that Pixelglass in cooperation with BitBeamCannon and Enable Software, have shown off some brand new work in progress footage of the eagerly awaited 'Metro Siege' and 'DaemonClaw'; Two incredible games that are in development, with one being a high quality brawler in co-op with PixelGlass, and the other, a side action platformer coming to the PC, Sega Mega Drive and the Amiga.
As noted by the video description for the October 2022 development cycle which can be watched above : "Here's a progress report for MetroSiege, our 2 player retro pixel art arcade/console style brawler game, as well as a platformer-action game we're making using the Scorpion Engine by Erik Hogan. The Scorpion Engine allows non-programmers to make high quality retro games which actually run on classic 16 bit hardware as well as modern platforms".
Maybe Time to deliver an Amiga playable demo, just to be sure about the kind of game it will be in the end...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've been watching Metro Seige for years and I'd love to get a hands on demo of level 1 even if stopped at the boss fight.
ReplyDeleteI think the same is the time of a playable demo of both games
ReplyDeleteThey develop the games in construct 3 first, then the Amiga version will be coded afterwards. Not the new one though.
ReplyDeleteIt's been years.
