NEONnoir - A Cyberpunk style Adventure game for the Commodore Amiga by SteamKnight has been updated

A great piece of news has just hit our inbox, as if you're looking for a newish adventure game to play on your Amiga, and a good looking one at that! Then thanks to a heads up via Saberman, we've just learnt that you can now download the Commodore Amiga Cyberpunk like Adventure game of NEONnoir by SteamKnight: a hybrid point-and-click adventure/visual novel game for the Amiga 1200 that was previously entered into the Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jam.

Here is what SteamKnight says about his latest Amiga game : "This game was created over 5 months for the Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jam whose purpose was to bring few faces into that community and help share knowledge of Blitz Basic programming. I'd never heard of Blitz Basic before, but the community was so supportive and uplifting that I could not help but participate. This is my flowery way of saying, "reader beware, my code is crap." I would do things completely differently now that I've learned so much. Five months sounds like a lot, but it's the longest I've ever worked on a game. This is the most complex story I've ever made and while it's silly and full of tropes, I'm pretty proud of it".

UPDATE : While the game was released some years back, as of 14days ago however, an update was posted to the itch io page bringing the game up to version 1.2.2. As for the changes I can't seem to find anything on any of the available sites.

  1. The game looks damn good.
Text adventures are unfortunately not my thing, but maybe I'll buy it anyway.

Will there be more languages to choose from ?
