Santa's Workout 2 - Help Santa in this new C64 game for Christmas by Vector5 Games

With Christmas being less than a month away you'd expect to see lots of Christmas themed games appearing on Indie Retro News in the lead up to the 25th. Well that's certainly happening this week, as the first game to be mentioned on our site is a Christmas game by Vector5games for the C64 called 'Santa's Workout 2 '; a brand new Commodore 64 puzzle game in which you need to help Santa to the exit by pushing lots of ice blocks.

Here is what the website says about this latest Christmas game for the C64 : "Help Santa to create a path to walk through the maze and find a key that opens the exit. Blocks can only be pushed if there is a block's worth of space behind them and nothing immediately ahead of them. If you push a block over the ice, the block will sink and leave open water on the level, where Santa can sink if you are not careful. Other hazards include ice which prevents Santa from stopping until he goes past it. Falling through holes loses one of your 3 lives, so think carefully about your steps. On your way, you can collect stars, Christmas ornaments, and gifts for extra points".

  2. Sorry, I don't like the graphics. It has not really a Santa or Christmas mood. Maybe with other colors.. The sounds also not really fit to the theme.

  3. I'm enjoying this game. Works the brain enough to feel accomplishment at the end of a level but hasn't got frustratingly hard. Good one.
