Amiga Kick Off 2 Graphics Restyle v1.0 - KONEY-SCANLINES graphics fix/restyle of the Amiga Competition Version!

The Amiga’s competitive football scene has received a significant visual boost with latest release of a new graphics fix and restyle for the Amiga Competition Version of Kick Off 2. Developed by KONEY-SCANLINES, this new project—titled Kick Off 2 CV—is based on the robust Amiga KO2CV v1.38 framework and aims to unify the visual identity of the legendary franchise. Do be aware however, that this HACK only involves edits to graphic assets; no changes were made to the game core with small exceptions.

The update introduces new custom and fixed design pitches, alongside restyled original pitches that breathe new life into the classic matchday experience. The players haven't been overlooked either. The game features restyled kits based on the iconic original designs, now featuring an improved kits colour palette for better clarity during high-speed gameplay. So yes, if you loved Kick Off 2 back in the day, now's your chance to play this game as an enhanced and haked version by KONEY-SCANLINES!

Key Notes :

  • Changes made to the program were team colours palette, default kits, default team colours, pitch names and forcing a buggy CV option "ALL PITCHES NORMAL" (more on this in the pitches section). For this reason, it is BASED on but NOT SPECIFIC for CV 1.37; besides the new palette, default settings and forced option, it should work with any KO2 version. EDIT: During the redesign CV 1.38 was released and it worked straight away. With Steve Camber we're figuring out a system which would allow upgrading to new CVs as easy as possible.
