The Amiga's vibrant homebrew scene that seems to dominate week after week, with notable Twitch streams via Amiga Bill, and Pintz and Amiga, has received another major boost with a recent release of Gravity Addict, a brand-new, official update to one of the platform's most beloved multiplayer physics game series. Games such as Gravity Force(1989), Gravity Force II(1994), and Gravity Power(1995). This new version of the game has been distributed as a downloadable and physical coverdisk for the rather impressive retro magazine known as Amiga Addict (specifically featured alongside Issue 42 in early 2026).
The March 2026 release of Gravity Addict represents the first official update to the series in decades. Produced with direct assistance from the well-known scene developer Galahad, this edition has been tailored specifically for the readers of Amiga Addict magazine. Features include a completely fresh intro titlescreen, entirely new menu layouts and updated in-game text, and a huge injection of brand-new levels to master. So whether you are a seasoned veteran who spent the 90s screaming at your friends in split-screen, or a newcomer looking to experience the zenith of Amiga goodness, Gravity Addict is a must-play piece of modern retro software.

really quite interesting but that difficulty curve ..
ReplyDeleteI really like the gravity based shooters on the Amiga. They were frustrating and fascinating at the same time. I would rather use joypad over traditional digital joystick for this type of game. Joystick is good for arcade shmups, but here you will rather brake your fingers. LOL
