Akumajou Dracula AGA - Castlevania for the Amiga, and it still looks amazing in this playable prototype update

Follix and ArtPazz - Double the fun for Amiga AGA computers from RETREAM

This game which was first officially announced back in Jan of last year, was apparently released way back in 2014 by Worderboy Bobi, as a short playable demo inspired by games such as Shadow of the Beast or Lion Heart and classed as an action RPG with skill and items progression.

AGA Integration into the Apollo core ( Vampire ) shows jaw dropping frame rates!

As many of you know the Amiga accelerator the ' Vampire ' has been around for a little while now, giving incredible performance boosts to the Amiga 500 and Amiga 600 as the Vampire 500 V2+ and Vampire 600 V2. A powerhouse of technical marvel by Igor Majstorovic, (Majsta) and tcore (CPU) by Gunnar von Boehn, (BigGun) that is faster than an Amiga 1200 with a 68060 accelerator running at 80MHz with very little heat or power consumption! However that is all well and good but what is lacking is AGA Integration, which as of this moment is being shown off in some rather impressive game play frame rate teasers!

The Big Red Adventure - Multi-platform Adventure game, gets a DamienD Amiga release

In 1995 Core Design released ' The Big Red Adventure ' as a sequel to a very fun and comedic Adventure game ' Nippon Safes Inc ', which was released on multiple platforms such as the PC, as well as a CD-ROM for the Amiga 1200 and A4000 in 1997 by Power Computing. This rather well known game, which takes place in Russia after Michael Gorbatsjov's Perestroika, has been unofficially re-released for the Amiga by DamienD but this time without the need for the CD.

AkReal v8.8 - Unofficial conversion of a great OS, optimised for real Amiga AGA!

Throughout the years many of us have either stuck to a lovely plain blue Amiga based OS or a fully featured Bloodwych installed ClassicWB. But now thanks to Retrofan, there's another OS you might want to install and that's the latest release of AkReal Version 8.8. This latest software is an unofficial conversion of AmiKit, the high-end distribution of the best classic Amiga software, which has been optimised for real Amiga's with AGA.

Eye of the Beholder AGA - MAC/PC playable Amiga dungeon crawler classic with Automap!

Only just recently I found a new site that enabled people to play retro games without all the hassle of setting anything up, it was just a download and run experience. But because many of their games are DOS based and being sold, we cannot mention any of their PC games. However that doesn't mean we can't mention Amiga games and it's today's special treat which may appeal to our avid dungeon crawler fans that was originally from the Amiga. The game we are going to shout about is in fact Eye of the Beholder, the Amiga AGA version which was written by Bertrand/CFou to support AGA (256 colors) GFX with automapping. - For the PC version you can buy it on GOG as well as Eye of the Beholder 2 and 3!

Day of the Tentacle - Amiga Adventuring CD32 Alpha release!

Originally released by LucasArts in 1993 as a sequel to Ron Gilbert’s ground breaking Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle is a mind-bending, time travel, cartoon puzzle adventure game in which three unlikely friends work together to prevent an evil mutated purple tentacle from taking over the world. It was just a shame that this amazing adventure with world renown was never officially ported over to the Amiga, unless of course you downloaded the unofficial Amiga AGA version of DOTT which is linked (here). But this news release isn't about the PC version or the Amiga AGA version, but a very early work in progress Amiga CD32 release, that thanks to our good friend Earok has been released as an Alpha.
