Mushroom Heroes - Puzzle platformer inspired by classics like Lost Vikings!

Ask any Amiga or SNES owner if they've ever played the 90's game The Lost Vikings, and they'd probably tell you about the tale of three separate Vikings each with varying abilities, that had to work together to finish multiple puzzling levels to find their way back home. It was a rather fun game for its time that also appeared on other systems. Scrambler - Classic 80's Arcade fun via your Android device!

It's not often I say this but I think I may have found a rather decent Android clone in Chrawfish Interactive's Arcade Shoot em up ' Scrambler ', which is a clone of the 1980's Arcade title Scramble ; a game originally developed by Konami and distributed in North America by Stern Electronics. For those of you who have never played this game before all those years ago, it was a classic early horizontal shoot-em-up where you had to blow up ground targets and missiles with bombs or bullets and navigate increasingly difficult terrain. It was so popular, it spawned many home computer conversions!

I'd better stop then. As you were. I don't know a single person who didn't like Skool Daze on the Spectrum so when I heard a remake was happening, I knew it had to be a damn fine version for die hard fans like myself to appreciate this new take on a Speccy classic. Let's see how it fairs, shall we?

Skool Daze - A retro childhood classic remade could be coming to Mobile and Tablets this week! [UPDATE]

A fantastic news story has just reached our inbox as Alternative Software's upcoming Skool Daze remake may be released this week on mobile and tablets. It's incredible to think that Skool Daze was first released way back in 1984 for the ZX Spectrum and C64 created by David Reidy. It was the only game of its time, that gave you the experience of being at school, while also being an unruly child trying to steal a report card from the headmaster's safe before your parents end up seeing it.

After Touch Soccer - A Kick Off fan remake

There are a few games from the days of Amiga and ST that really stood out. What we'd now call Killer Apps. For many Shadow of the beast is what sold Amigas. Something to put on in a shop window or show your mates when they came round. A beautiful yet flawed game. but for social gaming, the one EVERYONE had be it legit or copied, was Kick off (and later, KO2.) Even if you had no love for real world footie, Kick Off had universal appeal. It was 16-bit's killer app. So it's no surprise that someone would make a fan remake of it today. Here is AfterTouch Soccer.
