Alite - Classic Amiga Elite gets an Android port!
Only just recently I was talking to a few friends about the original David Braben's 8-bit space combat trading simulator of Elite, and how we've seen a few fan based remakes appear such as Oolite. Yes we've had the modern eye candy release of Elite Dangerous, but now we have come to mention another fan based remake, but this time it's ' ALITE', which is based on the original Amiga version and ported over to the Android. Foxtail - Furry fantastic adventure aims for crowd funding
Years ago in the 90's, there was an incredible furry like adventure game called 'Inherit the Earth', which was released for specific platforms such as the Amiga, Mac OS and DOS. It featured anthropomorphic animals (Furries) with a great storyline, lovely fantasy detail and characters with their own personalities. So it came as no surprise to us after our previous feature of 'Foxtail' by Gingertips, that their gorgeous pixelated adventure of similar design became a Steam Greenlight success in just 9 days with over 300 comments and subscribers! However the news isn't just of their success, but a new Indiegogo crowd funding campaign that they hope will raise €60,000 EUR in just 30days!

Desert Golf - One small gameplay idea distilled and refined to perfection.
This is one of those games that made me step back and think about how I design games. I think I go too wide too fast when developing a game. For example if i were working on a platformer I might get a player with some basic movement then move on to working on a set of levels and then some enemies. The problem is that because I didn’t focus enough on making the movement and feel of the game good at the stage when I made the player, the rest of the game suffered. Desert Golf on the other hand is one small gameplay idea distilled and refined to perfection.
Serious Dave - Action packed retro inspired runner free to play!
Inspired by "Dangerous Dave" and "Ruff 'n' Tumble'" from the Amiga, but with a lot of shooting, running and platform jumping involved. 'Serious Dave' is the latest top featured release by x246h00--r5 that really grabbed our attention. Even though it is still as a work in progress title and looking fantastic for such an early release, it already features 3 levels, 5 enemy types and all the weapons and upgrades you could need.
