Today the creators behind GOG have given the website a make over that not only looks more up to date with fancy features, but they have also improved performance. But this is not all they have introduced!

We did it! Indie Retro News hits one million views
What great news as Indie Retro News has hit it's first huge milestone of 1 million views! Over many years of posting the latest gaming news on certain forums, (originally just quotes) I had a dream to create my own gaming website, one that would suit both fans of the Indie scene and the Retro scene and reach out to as many people as possible. Thus in late 2011 Indie Retro News was born, although it did start off as just a bog standard blog with quoted news articles I wanted it to be something better, and that was to happen!
Farting Felix - The stinky fox is now available to buy on iOS!
We recently featured this game about two weeks ago, and today Tom Tirapani has given us the word that Farting Felix is now available to buy! If you've got an iOS capable device and want to play as a Farting Felix through multiple genres such as an endless runner, platformer, puzzle and a scrolling shooter then this is the game for you. Think of it as a multi-genre Meat boy with the bad case of the gas as there will be plenty of nasty spikes and violent saw blades in this game, so give the game a try!
WinUAE 2.8.1 - The latest Amiga emulator release!
It's with great retro excitement to announce that the best Amiga emulator WinUAE, has once again had another final version release. Through many beta releases and only a recent 2.8.0 version we are now at a stable build of WinUAE 2.8.1. Thanks to Toni Wilen who never stops working, he has fixed many bugs, added new features and even put in some improvements over the previous version. As such I highly recommend all Amiga players to update to 2.8.1! Read on for the changelog.
Farting Felix - Multi-Genre game that has a serious case of the gas!
Tom Tirapani who is the developer behind this crazy game, Farting Felix has just let us know that his newest game will be available to buy for iOS on June 17th through the iOS app store. What can only be described as a game mixed with a strong dose of curry will have you playing as a fox through multiple genres such as an endless runner, platformer, puzzle and a scrolling shooter. What gives this game the gas is the fact that most of the game is solved through the use of your backside flatulence, it also has elements of Meat Boy with the avoiding of spikes and violent saw blades. Although I'm not sure what was going through the developers mind at the time, it does look like a fun game and will have 10+ of play time!
A Wizard's Lizard - An action RPG that's crazy fun - Coming June 16th!
Lost Decade Games have just informed us that their Action RPG, A Wizard's Lizard: Immortal Edition, will be available on Steam and Humble on June 16th! A game that looks crazy fun as you play as a pet Lizard who is on a quest to rescue his master from death himself. But there's a cool twist to this game as to when you die it isn't game over, and challenges can only be met when you are dead. A Wizard's Lizard has come a long way from it's original announcement and not only does it have a neat art style but it also features plenty of game play through ever changing dungeons filled with fiendish puzzles, loot and powerful items. Oh and watch out for the hordes, they just don't like you!

FS-UAE 2.4.1 - The best all round Amiga Emulator with a brilliant GUI gets an important update!
Last month FrodeSolheim released the final build of FS-UAE 2.4.0, which is one of the best Amiga Emulators with full GUI that you can use on your PC. It's so simple to use that most people prefer it over WinUAE! It also features the vastly superior Open Amiga Game Database! Which means, if you have the amazing Amiga emulator frontend FS-UAE installed and all the amiga game files : floppy images, CD images and WHDLoad games (.adf, .ipf, .zip, .rar, .iso, etc), you'll be able to use the latest configuration settings straight from other users. By simply scanning the folders and being a registered free member of the online database the games will work right away with no frustrations! A far more indepth look is available here, as for this version 2.4.1, you'll need to update to it as some people have had launcher issues with the previous build. Read on for change notes.
Indie Retro News requires your attention!
As some of you know Indie Retro News has been running for over a year now but with only one staff member, myself, pulling the site forward, it needs that little extra bit of oomph. The site is dedicated to all that is both Indie and Retro from the latest games to the best in classics. But what help does the site really need? Basically anyone that is both good in blogger usage, good English and can talk about the latest Indie game news. There is also another position that needs filling, someone that loves Retro and can write up about all the old classics, or even show others your skills through a YouTube video.
If this interests you, then please don't hesitate to contact me via the Email, Facebook or Twitter link on the right hand side. I can't wait to hear from you :)

Game Genre : RTS

Game Info : Grey Goo is a real-time strategy game (RTS for short) with roots in classic strategy mechanics. Utilizing traditional base building as its core, the game aims to reinvent the modern standard of RTS gaming by placing emphasis on tactics over micro-management. By freeing players from having to issue hundreds of orders in a match, each decision is made more valuable and can mean the difference between victory and defeat. At the heart of Grey Goo lie three unique factions whose functionality and strategies vary significantly from one another. Whether it's the adaptive Beta, the impervious humans, or the unpredictable Goo, players are sure to find the play style they're looking for. Don't get too comfortable though. Skill with your preferred faction is no replacement for truly understanding your enemy.
