The Path - Illustrated text-based puzzle game also playable in your browser
Another game released by Adventuron this month and no not a simulation, is the Illustrated Text-Based Puzzle game ' The Path '. Hamurabi - A classic resource management sim ported online!
Atlantis and Dragonfire weren't the only games to be ported this month, as earlier today Chris contacted us to let us know that a port of 'Hamurabi' had been released and playable online via the Adventuron itch.io page. This game according to the main write up, is a port of the classic 1968 resource management sim by Doug Dyment and is adapted from the 1973 BASIC version port by David Ahl (printed in BASIC Computer Games, 1973).
GALAXY FORCE - Bullet hell shooter inspired by Scramble, playable online
In March of this year (yes it's still March :p) PuzCPC released a very nice side scrolling shoot em up Amstrad port of a much earlier game which was originally released way back in 1983 as Skramble developed by Darrell Etherington. The actual release name was ' Scramble ' which was also the original name of the game released in February 1981 developed by Konami and distributed in North America by Stern Electronics. So why am I talking about Scramble again? Well benjames171 recently released his own inspired version of Scramble, but this time as a bullet hell shooter called Galaxy Force

Spelunky demade on the Pico-8 as 'Delunky'
The original Spelunky released in 2008 is an action/puzzle platform game, where you play as the Spelunker who must explore tombs and other locations looking for treasure, (and love!) avoiding traps, blowing up scenery and enemies while escaping with as much loot as possible. It was and still is such a great game that Johan Peitz released his own version as a demake for the Pico-8 called ' Delunky '.

Spaceman Splorf: Planet of Doom - Pico-8 port of Pondsoft's C64 casual game
One of the most common uses for the Pico-8 game creation tool is for people to re-make classic games from the 8-bit era using P8's differently limited set of constraints, or to DE-make more modern games from 16-bit and later platforms. But Spaceman Splorf: Planet of Doom is something slightly different... it's a port of a modern release on C64 so it actually represents a true port, made at around the same time as the original, and it's really well done!

Sheep it Up - Baaaaah new Gameboy cartridge game goes online for FREE!
It's strange to think that not long ago I found my original Gameboy, which was lost for all those years with only memories to go by. Thankfully after finding it and looking out for more games, I was pleased to hear that games were still being developed for it such as this one ' Sheep it Up ' by LudoScience and Catskull Games. The idea behind this arcade game is rather unusual, climb as high as you can by hanging yourself from flying velctro straps while trying not to fall.
Handheld History launched via The Internet Archive!
A long time ago in New York in a local store on my way to eating a lovely Pecan Pie it was the very first time I ever saw a 1980's Nintendo Game and Watch with a little guy that had to put out a fire. Sadly I was never able to buy one of them and it wasn't until now that I heard many of those famous LCD style games had been re-released via The Internet Archive that are playable online via your browser and MAME.
