Flying Shark - WIP Flying Shark remake for the Commodore Amiga 500 gets a new demo
A new Commodore Amiga news story has appeared in our inbox, as we've recently found out through the EAB forums, that the previously announced game of Flying Shark. A new Arcade to Amiga remake by Magnus T together with JMD and John Tsakiris(GFX). Has recently been teased with a new one demo that you can download and play right now. To coincide with this news, Saberman has not only provided a link to the demo, but he's also done a video of the game being played below.
Geo's Quest Gateway to Nowhere - A new chapter in the latest Commodore Amiga Adventure game from GWI
Now another homebrew has appeared which will appeal to gamers who like adventure puzzlers , as we've been told by Tom in our email, that GWI has made available through Itch-io, the adventure game of Geo's Quest Gateway to Nowhere for the Commodore Amiga. A game in which you play as George Angus, as he attempts to traverse the whirlwind era of 90's computing. To coincide with this news, we've got some footage of this new chapter when it was teased many months ago.
Final Fight Enhanced - An enhanced Amiga AGA/ECS version of a classic Beat 'em up from 1991 (New build available)
Thanks to another heads up from a good friend of ours, we've been told that Prototron and team, have released an updated build of the previously released enhanced version of the 1991 US GOLD published Beat 'em up of 'Final Fight' for the Amiga; A game that when it was originally released back in the 90's, was regarded as either a failure, or just a pretty terrible game suffering the same fate as the Street Fighter II Amiga port ". To coincide with this news, provided below is the latest footage of this incredible looking enhanced version of Final Fight.
OutRun Arcade - A vastly superior version of a classic racer could be coming to an Amiga near you via Reassembler
In 1986 Sega released one of the greatest racers of our time, it just had to be Out Run. An Arcade racer designed by Yu Suzuki, that was not only a commercial success, but became one of the best selling games of its time. A game that featured incredible graphics, fantastic music and fast paced track racing. Thankfully other people remember this Arcade classic, as we've recently found out via Per-Ola Eriksson, that reassembler is working on a vastly superior version of Outrun for the Commodore Amiga. A version of the game which he hopes to put right "one of the nastiest Amiga arcade ports".

As we said before, JOTD has created some amazing conversions/ports over the years. Games such as Moon Patrol, Donkey Kong, Tetris 1200 (AGA), Super Bagman, Galaxian500 and our personal favorite Super Xevious. 2005 Mobile game 'Doom RPG' comes over to the Amiga 1200 and above
Here we are with another special announcement, as if any of you remember the 2005 mobile phone game of 'Doom RPG'; a game developed by Fountainhead Entertainment combining the Doom first-person shooter franchise with role-playing video game elements. Then as of today you'll be able to play the first version of Szilárd Biró/BSzili's port of Doom RPG on your Amiga! Although going by some of the replies on the EAB forums, there's a few issues that may need ironing out.

Moon Patrol 500 - 1980's Arcade classic as an Amiga conversion by JOTD gets a new OCS , ECS, and enhanced AGA beta build!
We've recently found out through the EAB forums, that the previously announced Arcade to Amiga conversion of Irem's classic 1982 scrolling shooter of 'Moon Patrol' by both JOTD and no9(music), has now been updated with an AGA enhanced, ECS and OCS beta build for you to try! Basically for those of you who were complaining about just AGA, can now try lower end builds of the game all created as a transcode of Moon Patrol arcade using assembler. To coincide with this news, there's a new screenshot from the game as well as a video coming any min now.

JetHuntERS - An Amiga preview of a new arcade shoot 'em up by Coagulus
Thanks to another heads up from Saberman, he has told us that Coagulus has made available an early build preview of his/her work in progress Shoot-em-up for the Amiga called 'JetHuntERS'. A game that the developer says isn't just a sequel to JetHunt, but also a partial tribute to the game Zybex which came out on 8-bit computers in the 1980's. It wasn't long ago now that we gave you the heads up, that the 1998 game of ' Jump 'n Bump ', which was released for MS-DOS and as a later remastered version, was coming to the Commodore Amiga, by none other than Earok of the Scorpion Engine. Well if you've been waiting for more news on this game, we are pleased to tell you that as of today, you can try out the latest beta version that essentially contains the core feature set from the original game. Although the creator does state , it hasn't been well tested yet so there may be bugs yet to be found or fixed.
Classic NES game 'Duck Hunt' has been unofficially released on the Commodore Amiga!
We always try to keep you up to date with the best in Amiga news, but boy do we have a surprise for you. As if you've ever had a Nintendo and a Light Gun, then you'll be pleased to that knowmarggines has released the classic NES game of ' Duck Hunt ' over to the Commodore Amiga ; a game that was also ported over to the Commodore 64 back in 2022 by Mahna Mahna. In light of this news, not only can you download the game right now, but there's also a new gameplay video done by Saberman earlier today.
Donkey Kong - A famous 80's game as an Arcade to Commodore Amiga conversion by JOTD!
As we said before, it was only just the other week that we informed you that JOTD, who is also behind the brilliant Arcade conversions of Galaxian and Super Xevious 1200 for the Amiga, was going to be doing another conversion/port of the classic 80's game of 'Donkey Kong'. Well thanks to a heads up from one of our readers in the comments section, we've been told that JOTD has finally released the eagerly awaited Donkey Kong 500. A transcode of Donkey Kong arcade version for the Amiga which you can see in the latest video below.
Castlevania AGA - Upcoming Castlevania for the Commodore Amiga gets a much improved demo!
Today's news is something special indeed, as trawling through Twitter, we've been told that Dante Retro Dev who is behind the excellent Arcade/NES to Amiga conversion of Green Beret, has released a new demo build for the upcoming Castlevania AGA : An in development AGA Amiga version which is being created using the excellent Scorpion Engine. To coincide with this news, while we wait for a new gameplay video from Saberman, the creator has posted a twitter update saying the demo includes polishing, extra details in some levels, dracula icon added on map cut-scene, and other fixes & improvements.
Jump 'n Bump - Cute bunnies battling it out in this teased Commodore Amiga OCS and Sega Mega Drive game! [Alpha Available]
Titled as ' Jump 'n Bump ', this game was originally released for free by Brainchild Design in 1998 for MS-DOS. It supported 4 players and was about bunnies crushing each other to death to get the highest score. So why are we mentioning this now? Well not only was the game released some time ago as a remastered version for modern systems by Domarius Games(link). But at some point in the near future, Earok will be porting the game over to the Commodore Amiga and Sega Mega Drive via the Scorpion Engine.
Breakthru - A Commodore Amiga conversion/port of a Data East Arcade game has been released!
If you're looking for further Arcade updates on the site, other than the ones we featured previously such as Final Fight Enhanced, Donkey Kong and Trojan, then we have just been told by our good friend Saberman through Facebook, that AcidBottle together with JMD(Audio) has finally released the Arcade to Commodore Amiga game of Breakthru; A 1986 side scrolling shooter by Data East in which you must drive a military vehicle through enemy territory to rescue your PK430 aircraft.
