This is a new Dungeon Crawler in development by clth that was originally meant as a Christmas gift whereby you must traverse deep underground caverns, find items and fight strange beasts.

Prince of Persia - A fabulous WIP Atari XL/XE port gets a brand new demo
It's a hot one outside but who cares as the news of today is, we have just been told that the all time classic platformer of 'Prince of Persia' is not only still coming to the Atari XL/XE thanks to the hard work of Rensoup, but as of this week has been shown off once more with another video work in progress update that includes a rather large 9 level playable demo. This game was originally released in 1989 by Brøderbund for multiple systems and featured lots of well designed platforming levels and extreme danger, as you must be careful not to fall through loose floors, get hit by sword wielding guards, crushed by gates or at worst skewered in blood on deadly spikes.
TURBO ARCADE - An awesome racing game is coming 2022 to your Atari 2600, demo now available
If however you don't have a ZX Spectrum but instead an Atari 2600 then you might like this piece of news, as trawling through Facebook, we've just come across this awesome looking racing game for the Atari 2600 called Turbo Arcade. Although the game isn't due to be released until 2022, Champ Games have at least released a demo for you to try which gives you an early look at this upcoming racing game which when complete, will feature 99 rounds and hundreds of scenes to race through.

Another Street Fighter project but this time using the Scorpion Engine on the Amiga?
The Scorpion Engine is becoming the go to development tool for the Amiga, as not only can you create some pretty decent looking games, but unlike other software creation tools such as BackBone they don't run at a snails pace on anything but a power house of an Amiga. Thankfully one such creator shows what could be possible although don't expect this one to be a full time project, is Federico Nisoli's demo'd Street Fighter; a game which originally appeared on the Arcades, and was then ported to pretty much every system you could think of, including such systems as the Amiga (poorly), Atari St and even the ZX Spectrum.
Putter - A charming little Arcade platformer from Czorny gets a full box release
Another Amiga heads up, as thanks to Saberman and an update from the developer in the RedPill Game Creator group, we've been told Czorny has released the full version of his previously announced Amiga game called 'Putter'. A game that has been in development for some time using the RedPill Game creation software, and as such requires a minimum Amiga with an AGA chipset. (The stock A1200 is not enough for full comfort of gameplay, the game reaches full speed only on an overclocked 68020 processor.)

Yes indeed this game first posted about a little while ago, is an upcoming Amiga game inspired by basic shooting elements such as Commando, with a mix of Chaos Engine and a dab of Alien Breed.

If you were following Indie Retro News last month you would've read that coming as a complete surprise to us, MC Studio released a demo of their work in progress Amiga interactive adventure of 'Wilcza Buda'. If you thought Another World, Heart of Darkness or Flashback was bloody brilliant, then wait till you see Lunark by developers Canari Games; an upcoming 2D Cinematic Platformer that is not only coming this year, but as of recently has just got a new demo tease. Featuring high quality art work, a fabulous story line, uniquely designed levels with gorgeous graphics. Canari Games are hoping this previously successful game on Kickstart will also be just as successful on Steam.
mini MIKE and the Caverns of Doom - A challenging C64 demo featuring a tiny character
While many of you are playing the latest release from Protovision called ' Outrage ', another C64 game might be worth checking out, which is still in development and teased with a playable demo, and that is Syntax Error Software's C64 game of miniMIKE; a new demo that's also playable online which feels a bit like Load Runner, except with deadly traps to that of VVVVV or even Super Meat Boy!
Putter - A charming little Arcade platformer from Czorny gets an Amiga demo
Another heads up today, as thanks to Saberman and an update from the developer in the RedPill Game Creator group, we've been told Third_Knight aka Czorny, has released a demo for his in development Amiga game using the RedPill Software called 'Putter'. Although the game doesn't yet have a release date, this demo gives us an early glimpse of the game including a number of levels you can play through as a teaser to the full game.
