Kirby The Dream Battle - Kirby fighting game with plenty of action

Welcome to the latest fan based action/fighting title developed by Douglas Baldan (O Ilusionista), who makes some fine fighting games released through Gamejolt, based on classic characters. This time the developer has moved onto none other than the classic Nintendo character Kirby. According to Douglas, Kirby The Dream Battle has a very similar gameplay style to Kirby Super Star Ultra, in which you need to beat your opponents with the ability and attack of the character you are currently playing.

Marvel First Alliance 2 - The latest kick ass free beat 'em up!

Sometime last year we featured possibly one of the better OpenBor beat 'em ups to hit your PC and that was Marvel First Alliance by Brazilian Developer Zvitor. Well today we have a new release that further improves upon the original with far more ass kicking than you can possibly take. Marvel First Alliance 2 is inspired by the greats such as Streets of Rage and Double Dragon and a game that not just fighting purists will enjoy but those that enjoy the Marvel characters!

Dangerzone - Top Gun takes on Street Fighter in this latest Kickstarter

Highway to the Dangerzone... No I'm not going to sing that again, but here comes another game with a slight Top Gun influence that might appeal to the dog fighting masses. B10b has just announced through Kickstarter, "Dangerzone" which has a very unique idea to it as you fight in head to head air combat that combines both Street Fighter II and Top Gun. If blowing each other up out of the skies appeals to you then check this game out, as it will feature 7 un-lockable characters, a story arc, a mysterious villain and lots of wicked cool button mashing combos in both single player and multiplayer action.

SKARA: The Blade Remains - Unreal 4 engine based fighting game gets a Kickstarter!

I was just given the heads up by Cesar Ortega that the developers Skara have recently set up a new Kickstarter campaign for their brutal fighting game, Skara: The Blade Remains. Using the Unreal 4 engine, this looks be a fighting game of top notch graphics and awesome online game play as you battle it out in an arena of bloodshed and clanging weaponry. According to the developers Skara is about skill timing, accuracy and practice with up to 16 players online, as you compete for dominance in a world racked by cosmic disaster. If bloodshed is what you desire then other players can be dispatched with special combos and spectacular fatalities, so watch out if I'm playing because I'll take your head off ;)

VHS Story - Can you train to be the ultimate fighter? (Recommended Game)

Here's another one of those games you've just got to play, a game that will probably take the hours away of your normal life as you just can't put the game down. And that game is VHS Story by Dartius which has you tasked with developing your character to be the ultimate fighter. Think of it as The Sims mixed with Rambo as every bit of training takes more of your stamina and hunger. The harder you train the more you'll want to sleep and of cause eat. But it is down to you to how far your character goes in life, will he sit around and be a couch potato or be rich with glory? Just be careful not to push your character too far, you wouldn't want him collapsed with a heavy weight down upon his chest.

Hyper Dragonball Z - Team Z2 releases another drool worthy trailer!

Team Z2 have just released another drool worthy trailer for Hyper Dragonball Z, which is a 2D fighting game based on the hit anime Dragonball Z. As someone who thinks Dragonball Z is a note worthy anime, this Mugen engine based fighting game looks spot on to what a DBZ game should really be about. Which is high powered characters using the ultimate in fighting skills against each other in an unnatural show of force. This latest trailer features a FAQ and new game play footage from Gohan and Freeza battling it out against each other.

Hyper Dragonball Z - Free 2D fighter with kick ass DBZ moves!

Team Z2 have just announced the release of an epic teaser trailer for the demo of Hyper Dragonball Z. Which is a 2D fighting game, based on the hit anime Dragonball Z. Now I'm a huge fan of DBZ, as I have seen all the episodes and movies and even at my age it's still a charm. Hyper Dragonball Z uses the Mugen engine, but unlike many other Mugen style fighters this looks to be of high quality and contains many awesome fighting moves straight from the anime! You'll also be able to play as popular characters such as Goku and Vegeta (who is my favourite character). A playable demo sample is available, featuring 5 characters and up to 11 stages, lets just hope the powers that be don't put a stop to it!
