Game Info : This is one of the all time greatest Adventure games ever created! Not only did it appear on the Amiga, it also appeared on the PC(DOS) and has a large retro following. Released in 1994 and set in a cyberbunk, sci-fi back drop, had your character Robert Foster trying to escape from Union City and to uncover the corruption which lies at the heart of society. There is even a cool intro to this game and it has a great story, of which I won't spoil! It wasn't just the story which made this game great, but nifty puzzles, cool  backgrounds and other characters make this a worthy choice of play on any system. Although the original PC version is available on gog.com, there is an Amiga version that's free too! Thanks to The Company.pl, the Amiga version has been released/updated to version 2.6  so you can now play this on your PC with higher graphical filters.

DRM-free games specialist GoG are doing a weekend promotion offering twenty-five classic Atari titles for just $63.10 (£41.78), bought as a package purchase, or individually. Individual titles start at $2.09 (£1.38).

Titles up for cheap grabs include the Roller Coaster Tycoon trilogy, the Alone In The Dark trilogy, and several Sid Meier titles.

Games have all been remastered to be compatible with modern systems, both PC and Mac, but please check the individual releases for system requirements.

As is standard for the GoG games catalogue, many of the releases feature bonuses such as desktop backgrounds, game manuals, and even expansion packs, games soundtracks and videos featuring interviews with developers.

Superfrog HD - Platforming fun coming to PS3 and PS Vita

Anyone remember Superfrog? Well I do! It was a brilliant scrolling 2D platforming Amiga and PC(DOS) game. It was originally developed and published for the Amiga in 1993 by Team 17 and then later released for PC(DOS) systems and finally appeared on GOG.com. Team 17 are once again going back to it's roots by pushing Superfrog into the HD era for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita later this year. Superfrog HD will feature all the levels you remember from 1993 but with all new graphics.
