The 1st June release date for Destructive Creations controversial shooter 'Hatred' is fast approaching, and what better way to check the game out in all it's gorish glory is to watch this latest 18+ gameplay footage that had been made available yesterday. Dead Flesh Boy - Meat Boy demake for the ZX Spectrum!

As if this week couldn't get any better, as Andrew Vanbeck of the World of Spectrum forum's has just announced the release of 'Dead Flesh Boy'; a ZX Spectrum demake of the highly challenging gory game ' Meat Boy '. Originally released in 2010 onwards for the PC and XBOX, you play as a cube-shaped character called Meat Boy, who must save his girlfriend Bandage Girl from the evil scientist Dr. Fetus. Avoid saw blades, falling blocks and other obstacles while running and jumping across multiple platforms and avoiding a horrific bloody death.

Station - Flashback inspired psychological terror gets a Kickstarter

Those of you who like a good psychological horror story may be interested to know that Well-Lit Room has announced that their latest Kickstarter campaign for a Flashback inspired psychological terror game titled 'Station' has now begun. You may have read about the latest Action game called Hatred which spawned rather a lot of controversy, but there's another game which could push the boundaries of sickening and that is "The Dark Inside Me"; a new Adventure from horror movie director Akçay Karaazmak. Currently going through both an Indiegogo and Steam Greenlight campaign with a high +18 rating for PC,Mac & Linux. The Dark Inside Me is a 2d,5 next-gen unique 3rd person point and click psychological horror that aims to reflect the real characteristic of a player through the game and see how far players would push their limits. Especially as it has disturbing gore, sex and intense violent scenes!

Chocolate Doom 2.1.0 - Doom source port - Significant improvements

Chocolate Doom is another Doom source port that has had a new version released today. Released as version 2.1.0, Chocolate Doom is a conservative, historically accurate Doom source port which is compatible with the thousands of mods and levels that were made before the Doom source code was released. This release brings some rather significant improvements over Chocolate Doom 2.0.0, so those of you who are Doom fans should do well to up date!

Brad Harding has just released version 1.6 of DOOM RETRO, a classic, refined DOOM source port for Windows PC. DOOM RETRO has many bug fixes and enhancements, such as 640×400 resolution, wide screen mode with huds up display, more blood splats and with the latest release of 1.6; dynamic shadows, partially submerged objects in liquid and DeHackEd support. A highly recommended source port of the original bloody thirsty classic!
