This handheld printed C64 case called the "HX-64" aka the "CX-64" looks super cute!

We have featured many different types of retro cases and hardware throughout the years, from products such as the UCassette, The Future Was 8bit's SD2IEC, the Ultimate, Amiga/C64 mini's, to the C64P; a C64DTV based laptop. Well here we are with this rather interesting case for the C64 community that could turn into something special, it's the 'HX-64' aka the "CX-64"; A fully printed handheld by Jeffrey McKelvy that many are hoping will be turned into a working C64 handheld based device with a raspberry pi. To coincide with this news, here's the story from Jeffrey McKelvy which was originally posted via Facebook.

Low cost Vampire Raptor 1200 accelerator is on the way and we are excited!

Chances are if you have an Amiga 500, you'll be looking out for the PiStorm, an adapter board intended to be paired with a Raspberry Pi Model 3A which offers additional features, like fast graphics acceleration, SCSI disk emulation, and the ability to run whatever Kickstart ROM you so desire. But for those of you with an Amiga 1200, you'll need to look elsewhere for your acceleration power house, but rather than the long wait times and high cost of a Vampire accelerator, then the Vampire Raptor 1200 Accelerator might just the piece of hardware your Amiga 1200 thanks you for (and so does your wallet)

A-PI 400 - A printed Amiga case for the Raspberry Pi 400?

Top case is resting on a box! ( First Print Prototype )

Over the years there's certainly been a surge in home made cases and internal changes to bring the Raspberry Pi into an almost seamless look giving us the impression we are playing on an old console. This all fused together with so many games through Pi Retro Emulation that no original console or games are needed. I mean seriously, if you didn't want a NES or SNES mini, you could buy a tiny NES case, bang a Raspberry Pi inside, add a few extra parts, install someone software, thousands of roms and you have your own emulation station running through a HDMI TV!
